Legal description of the stream segment through which <br />a~ instream flow is claimed. <br /> <br />The natural stream channel from the confluence with <br />James Creek at latitude 40 deg. 06'08"N, longitude <br />105 deg. 20'29"W as the upstream terminus and extend- <br />ing to the confluence with the Lake Ditch Diversion <br />Dam in the NE/4 NE/4 sec. 23, T2N, R71W 6th P.M. as <br />the downstream terminus being a distance of approxi- <br />mately 3.7 miles. This segment can be located on the <br />Boulder and Lyons U.S.G.S. quadrangle(s). <br /> <br />Administration: For the stream segment(s) in an <br />unsurveyed area, the Division Engineer has determined <br />for administrative purposes that the approximate <br />legal description of the instream flow termini as <br />protracted from U.S.G.S. mapping is as follows: <br />upstream terminus in the SE/4 sec. 28, T2N, R71W 6th <br />P.M. <br /> <br />5. Use of the water: <br /> <br />Instream flows to preserve the natural environment to <br />a reasonable degree. <br /> <br />6. Date of initiation of appropriation: <br /> <br />September 5, 1986. <br /> <br />7. The water was first applied to the above beneficial use <br />on December 11, 1987 by action of the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board under the provisions of C.R.S. 37-92-102(3), 37-92-103(3), <br />(4), (10) (1990 Repl.
