The source of the water is Jenny Creek, tributary to <br />South Boulder Creek. <br /> <br />8. Legal description of the stream segment through which <br />an instream flow is claimed: <br /> <br />The natural stream channel from the outlet of Jenny <br />Lake at latitude 39 degrees 56'OO"N, longitude 105 <br />degrees 39'41"W as the upstream terminus and extend- <br />ing to the confluence with South Boulder Creek at <br />latitude 39 degrees 54'28"N, longitude 105 degrees <br />34'43"W as the downstream terminus, being a distance <br />of approximately 5,8 miles. This segment can be <br />located on the East Portal and Nederland U.S.G.S. <br />quadrangles. <br /> <br />Administration: For stream segments in unsurveyed <br />areas, the Division Engineer has determined for ad- <br />ministrative purposes that the approximate legal de- <br />scription of the instream flow termini as protracted <br />from U.S.G.S. mapping is as follows: upstream termi- <br />nus in the NW/4 S27, T1S, R74W 6th P.M.; downstream <br />terminus in the NE/4 S5, T2S, R73W 6th P.M. <br /> <br />9. Use of the water: For instream flows to preserve the <br />natural environment to a reasonable degree, pursuant to section <br />37-92-102(3), Colo. Rev. Stat. <br /> <br />10. Date of appropriation: December 11, 1987. The appro- <br />priation was initiated and water first put to beneficial use on <br />December 11, 1987, by action of the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board under Sections 37-92-102(3), 37-92-103(3), 37-92-103(4), <br />and 37-92-103(10), C.R.S. ' <br /> <br />11. Amount of water granted: 1.0 c.f.s. ABSOLUTE. <br /> <br />12. Timely and adequate notice of these proceedings has <br />been given in the manner required by law.
