b. Location:

Legal description of the stream segment through which an
instream flow is claimed: The natural stream channel from
the confluence with the North Fork of the Snake River at
lat. 39 deg. 36'18"N, long. 105 deg. 56'30"W as the
upstream terminus and extending to the confluence with
Dillon Reservoir in SE/4 NE/4 S2l T5S R77W 6th P.M. as the
downstream terminus, being a distance of approximately 4.4
miles. This segment can be located on the Keystone and
Frisco U.S.G.S. quadrangle(s).

For administrative purposes only, the Division Engineer for
Water Division 5 has translated the segment thus described
into approximate protracted section, township, and range
locations from U.S.G.S. mapping as follows: upstream
terminus in the SE/4 NW/4 S19 T5S R76W 6th P.M., more spe-
cifically at a point whence the NW corner of said section
bears S52 OCE a distance of 3,050 ft.

c. (1) Date of initiation of appropriation: March 14, 1986.

(2) Date water applied to beneficial use: Water was first
applied to beneficial use on March 14, 1986, pursuant to S
37-92-103(4), C.R.S. (1973).

(3) How appropriation was initiated: By applicant's
approval of its staff's final recommendations at a regu-
larly scheduled meeting, subsequent to having requested and
considered recommendations from the Division of Wildlife,
and the Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation.

d. Amount of water claimed:

Instream flow of 12.0 c.f.s. (May 1 through Sept. 30); 6.0
c.f.s. (Oct. 1 through Apr. 31), absolute.
