THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF COLORADO

IN BEAVER BROOK, A NATURAL STREAM

IN THE WATERSHED OF CLEAR CREE~

IN JEFFERSON COUNTY.

This Application was fil~d on December 21~ 1987, and was
referred to the Water Referee ~or Water Division No.1, State of
Colorado. A Statement of Opposition was filed by the City of
Golden ("Golden") on February 26, 1986. Lookout Mountain Water
District (the "District") was substituted as a party after ac-
quiring Golden's water rights in the Clear Creek drainage basin.
A Joint Motion, Stipulation and Agreement and Request to Withdraw
Statement of Opposition was ap~roved by the Court on July 1,
1992.

The Referee having made investigations as are necessary to
determine whether or not the statements in the Application are
true does make the following determination and Ruling:

1. The name of the stream involved is Beav~r Brook
