Walker <br />Director <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />File A <br />Gene Jencsok~d .{j~~ <br /> <br />,~ <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />August 1, 1991 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />Lease of Water from DPOR (Steamboat Lake) <br /> <br />A meeting was held at the USFWS on July 30, 1991, to discuss the lease of <br />water from DPOR's Steamboat Lake; in attendance were: <br /> <br />John Hamill, FWS <br />Margo Zallen, DOl <br />Joe Maurier, CDPOR <br />George Smith, FWS <br />Ken Sheldon, FWS <br /> <br />Sue Uppendahl, CWCB <br />Wendy Weiss, AG <br />Gene Jencsok, CWCB <br />Linda Preslan, AG <br /> <br />It was agreed that the Recovery Program would proceed with this lease through <br />the following activities: <br /> <br />1) The Proposal would be presented to the WAC on July 31, 1991, for <br />their concurrence, <br /> <br />2) The Proposal would then be presented by John Hamill to the <br />Implementation Committee on August 15, 1991, for their concurrence, <br /> <br />3) The DPOR will work with the AG and request that their decree be <br />amended to include reservoir releases for instream uses (Joe Maurier <br />will discuss with his supervisor whether they should/want to amend <br />their degree). <br /> <br />4) FWS/WAC will request that LRCWE prepare an appraisal of the <br />value of the water (cost at $2500 maximum). <br /> <br />,'. <br /> <br />'" --~;j-------,-- <br /> <br />
