<br />e <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 37-60-106(l)(c), Colorado Revised Statutes, directs the Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board to designate and approve stonn or floodwater runoff channels or basins <br />and to make such designations available to legislative bodies of local jurisdictions; and <br /> <br />COMPLIANCE WITH CWCB TECHNICAL STANDARDS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the detailed floodplain information in said report dated December 15, 1979 for the <br />South Platte River, Little Dry Creek and Big Dry Creek in the City of Englewood was the official <br />floodplain infonnation for the City of Englewood for the purposes of the National Flood Insurance <br />Program from December 15, 1979 until April 17, 1989, for those stream reaches, previously met all of <br />the requirements for detailed infonnation listed under the Board's "Rules and Regulations for the <br />Designation and Approval of Floodplains and of Stonn or Floodwater Runoff Channels in <br />Colora1lo" (2 CCR 408-1), but no longer met those requirements after April 17, 1989; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the approximate floodplain infonnation in said repon dated December 15, <br />1979 for the South Platte River in the City of Englewood meets all of the requirements for <br />approximate floodplain -infonnation listed under the Board's "Rules and Regulations for the <br />Designation and Approval of Floodplains and of Stonn or Floodwater Runoff Channels in <br />Colora1lo" (2 CCR 408-1) <br /> <br />e DESIGNA TION, APPROVAL, ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND RESCISSION ACTION <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water Conservation Board in <br />regular meeting assembled in Durango, Colorado, this 24th day of May 1999, that it does hereby <br />acknowledge the official status, for purposes of the National Flood Insurance Program, during the <br />period from December 15, 1979 until April 17, 1989, of said repon dated December 15, 1979, and <br />that it does hereby rescind the stonn or floodwater runoff channels or basins for those portions of <br />the South Platte River, Little Dry Creek and Big pry Creek within the City of Englewood, as listed <br />in Table 2 and as described by detailed floodplain infonnation in said report dated December 15, <br />1979, effective retroactively April 17, 1989; and <br /> <br />BE IT RJRTHER RESOLVED that the Colorado Water Conservation Board does hereby <br />designate and approve the stonn or floodwater runoff channels or basins for the South Platte River <br />within the City of Englewood, as listed in Table 3 and as described by approximate floodplain <br />infonnation in said report dated April 17, 1989 and does explicitly leave in full force Resolutions <br />Nos. 251 and 93-348; and <br /> <br />BE IT RJRTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Board is directed to send a <br />certified copy of this resolution to the City of Englewood; the City of Cherry Hills Village; the City <br />of Greenwood Village; the City of Littleton; the City of Sheridan; the City and County of Denver; <br />the Board of County Commissioners of Arapahoe County; the Urban Drainage and Flood Control <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />5 <br />
