<br />On J<'ln4ary 29, 1991, the ["t!sul ts oj the study were reviewed lJnd <br />accepted at a final coordination meeting attended by <br />representatives of the community, FEMA and the study contractor. <br />The study was acceptable to the community. <br /> <br />2.0 AREA STUDIED <br /> <br />2.1 Scope of Study <br /> <br />This Flood Insurance Study covers the incorporated areas of the <br />City of Arvada. The City is located in Jefferson County, Colorado. <br />The area of study is shown on the Vicinity Map (Figure 1). <br />Detailed, partial detailed, and approximate analyses were performed <br />on the streams identified to be studied within the city limits. <br />Approximate analyses were performed in those areas that were almost <br />entirely developed with channelization and other flood protection <br />measures that help to minimize flood hazards.
