<br />4.3 Preliminary Drainage Report <br /> <br />The purpose of the Preliminary Drainage Report (PDR) is to identify specific <br />solutions to the problems that will occur on site and off site as a result of <br />the development. In addition, those problems that exist prior to development <br />must be addressed during the preliminary phase. <br /> <br />The PDR shall be in accordance with the following outline and contain the <br />applicable information listed. Drainage reports must utilize the following <br />format and major head i ngs as high 1 i ghted in bo 1 d. Fail ure to comply with the <br />provisions of this section may result in the report being rejected for review. <br /> <br />(1) GENERAL LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION <br />(a) Location <br /> <br />1. City and county, and local streets within and adjacent to <br />the subdivision. <br /> <br />2. Township, range, section, 1/4 section. <br /> <br /> <br />3. Major drainageways and facilities. <br /> <br /> <br />4. Names of surrounding developments. <br /> <br />(b) Description of Property <br /> <br />1. Area in acres. <br /> <br />2. Ground cover (type of trees, shrubs, vegetation). <br />3. General topography. <br /> <br />4. General soil conditions. <br /> <br />5. Major drainageways. <br />6. Irrigation facilities. <br /> <br />(2) DRAINAGE BASINS AND SUB-BASINS <br />(a) Major Basin Descriptions <br /> <br />1. Reference should be made to major drainageway planning <br />s tudi es such as mas ter drainage bas i n p 1 anni ng studi es, <br />flood hazard delineation reports, and flood insurance <br />studies or maps, if available. <br /> <br />2.
