<br />WHEREAS, the U.S. Anny Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District, completed a
<br />floodplain report entitled "Flood Hazard Information, Gunnison and Uncompahgre Rivers, Delta
<br />and Delta County, Colorado", dated February 1980; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said report included detailed floodplain information for streams within the
<br />corporate limits of the City of Delta and within unincorporated portions of Delta County, as they
<br />were in February 1980, including the Gunnison River; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by Delta County, by
<br />Resolution No. 168, adopted on December 2, 1980, designated and approved the detailed
<br />floodplain information included in said report; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency completed a floodplain
<br />information report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, Delta County, Colorado, Unincorporated
<br />Areas", dated September 15, 1983; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said report included detailed and approximate floodplain information for
<br />streams within unincorporated portions of Delta County, as they were on September 15, 1983,
<br />including the Gunnison River; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by Delta County, by
<br />Resolution No. 222, adopted on November 3, 1983, designated and approved the detailed and
<br />approximate floodplain information included in said report; and
<br />
<br />.

<br />WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency completed a floodplain
<br />information report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, City of Delta, Colorado, Delta County", dated
<br />December 1, 1983; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said report included detailed floodplain information for the Gunnison River
<br />and the Uncompahgre River within the corporate limits of the City of Delta, as they were on
<br />December 1, 1983; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by the City of Delta,
<br />by Resolution No. 231, adopted on July 13, 1984, designated and approved the detailed floodplain
<br />information included in said report and rescinded that portion of Resolution No. 168 relating to
<br />stream reaches within the corporate limits of the City of Delta, as they were on December 1,
<br />1983; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency completed a floodplain
<br />information report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, Mesa County, Colorado, Unincorporated
<br />Areas", dated September 15, 1992; and
