The <br />subdivision is located in the most northerly and weste~y corner of <br />the City. The subdivision was platted and is being developed by Mr. <br />Dale Anderson and is also known as the Anderson Subdivision. <br /> <br />The subdivision is located along the south and west bank of the river, <br />approximately between river stations 268+00 and 288+00. Sheet 1 of 1, <br />Plan Map, included with this report, shows the general location of <br />Ri verwood Es tates with re 1 ati on to the ri ver and corporate 1 imi ts of <br />the City. <br /> <br />Purpose of Study <br /> <br />The purpose of this study is to identify the impact of fill material <br />whi ch has been placed wi thi n the regul atory floodway and the main <br />river channel, as part of the Riverwood Estates development process, <br />and to identify measures which may be taken to mitigate the impact of <br />the fill material. FEMA has requested the City to identify measures <br />the City may wish to take to restore lost river conveyance capability. <br /> <br />Scope of Study <br /> <br />The scope of this study effort was to complete the following tasks: <br /> <br />1. Revi ew previ ous FEMA correspondence regardi ng the <br />floodway filling at Riverwood Estates. <br /> <br />-1- <br />
