<br />RESOLUTION
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency completed a floodplain information
<br />report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, Summit County, Colorado, Unincorporated Areas", dated June
<br />1980; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said report included detailed floodplain information for the Blue River, Willow
<br />Creek, Straight Creek, Tenmile Creek, West Tenmile Creek, the Snake River, Soda Creek and Meadow
<br />Creek and approximate floodplain information for the Blue River, Slate Creek, Big Gulch, North Rock
<br />Creek, Pebble Creek, Salt Lick Gulch, Meadow Creek, North Tenmile Creek, Tenmile Creek, Soda
<br />Creek, the Snake River, South Barton Gulch, Middle Barton Gulch, the Swan River, Illinois Gulch,
<br />French Gulch, Sawmill Gulch and other unnamed tributaries within the unincorporated portions of
<br />Summit County, as they were in June 1980; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservlltion Board, as requested by the Board of County
<br />Commissioners of Summit County, by Resolution No. 167, adopted on December 2,1980, approved and
<br />designated the detailed and the approximate floodplain information included in said report; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency had previously completed Flood
<br />Insurance Studies for the Towns of Silverthorne, Frisco and Breckenridge, respectively, dated November
<br />1979, November 1979 and March II, 1980, respectively, and designated and approved by the Colorado
<br />Water Conservation Board by Resolutions Nos. 154, 158 and 159, respectively; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said Flood Insurance Study for Summit County dated June 1980 was consistent with
<br />said Flood Insurance Studies for the Towns of Silverthorne, Frisco and Breckenridge; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, a new report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, Summit County, Colorado,
<br />Unincorporated Areas", dated November 2 1994 has been prepared by the Federal Emergency
<br />Management Agency; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said new report includes detailed floodplain information for the following streams:
<br />
<br />Tenmile Creek,
<br />Meadow Creek,
<br />Jug Creek,
<br />No Name Creek,
<br />Miners Creek,
<br />
