<br />.. <br /> <br />-, <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Preliminary Desil!n Criteria <br />All preliminary designs of channels, levees, culverts, bridges, detention facilities, and other <br />major drainagway features shall be consistent with FEMA, Corps of Engineers, or State of <br />Colorado design criteria for flood control works (whichever may apply, and whichever would be <br />the most stringent criteria for a given flood control feature). The major drainageway designs <br />shall provide flood protection to the 100-year flood frequency. <br /> <br />Meetinl!s and Coordination <br />At least three informal progress meetings shall be held between Contractor and CWCB during <br />the course of the Project. The first meeting will consist of a kick-off meeting which will include <br />an on-site tour of the Project area. The second and third meetings will be held to discuss and <br />review work progress, to coordinate work efforts, and to provide input to the Contractor. <br />Meetings times will be mutually agreed upon at key project phases and scheduled accordingly. <br /> <br />The CWCB Project Manager, Mr. Tom Browning, shall coordinate activities performed by the <br />Project participants. Any Project-related questions or problems shall be directed to Tom <br />Browning at (303) 866-3441. The Contractor shall provide the name of one Derson who will <br />serve as the main point of contact for all communications between CWCB and Contractor. <br /> <br />Any public meetings or communications with local officials, residents, and other interested <br />parties will be the responsibility of the CWCB. The Contractor is not obligated to, but may at <br />any time during the Project, communicate with local officials and others as needed if it would <br />improve the quality or efficiency of the Project. <br /> <br />Survev and MaDDinl! Information <br />A survey Subcontractor will obtain field survey information and will provide channel cross- <br />section information for the project. The survey Subcontractor will perform the survey and <br />mapping tasks as presented in a separate scope of work prepared by the CWCB. The survey <br />Subcontractor shall be paid directly by the engineering Contractor for the lump sum total amount <br />of $2,700. Survey Subcontractor shall invoice the Contractor directly, and shall be paid within <br />10 days once the engineering Contractor receives said State funding for the Project. <br /> <br />ComDletion of Work <br />The contractor shall complete all work as assigned in this Scope of Work no later than January <br />15, 1998. Completion of the work will include the acceptable performance of tasks and the <br />delivery of ten (10) copies of the final report with included drawings, figures, and maps. Report <br />format shall be a comb-bound 8.5" by 11" report with a color cover (cover to be approved by <br />CWCB), an index, an executive summary, the main body of the report text, and a map pocket at <br />the end of the report that contains large size maps, drawings, and/or preliminary design sheets. <br />Contractor shall also deliver two (2) sets of error free and virus free 3.5" high density floppy <br />disks containing digital files of the final report, hydraulic models, and other project related <br />design files. Final report shall be provided in Microsoft Word format (version 6.0 or later). <br /> <br />The contractor shall also submit two (2) copies of a technical addendum that shall include all <br />backup information, calculations, correspondence, and other pertinent information related to the <br />project. The technical addendum shall be a comb-bound 8.5" by II" report with a color cover <br />(cover to be approved by CWCB), and an index. <br /> <br />5 <br />
