1 .tary of the Treasury may at any time sell any of the notes or

2 other obligations acquired by him under this subsection.

3 SEC. 6. Notwithstanding any other law, rule, regula-

4 tions or fiscal policy to the contrary, the status of any obliga-

5 tions issued by a water authority which are otherwise tax-

6 exempt under section 103 of the Internal Revenue Code of

7 1954, as amended, shall not be adversely affected due to in-

8 surance made available therefor under the provisions of this

9 Act.

10 SEC. 7. The remedies prescribed in this Act shall be

11 cumulative and not in limitation of or in substitution for any

12 other remedies available to the Secretary.

SEC. 8. There are authorized to be appropriated and to

14 remain available without fiscal year limitation such sums as

15 may be necessary to carry out this Act.

16 SEC. 9. The Secretary is hereby authorized to prescribe

17 regulations deemed by the Secretary to be necessary or expe-

18 dient to assure that the Fund is operated in a fiscally respon-

19 sible manner, to assure that the insurance agreements en-

20 tered into by the Secretary aIld water authorities meet the

21 criteria established in section 3 of this Act, and to otherwise

22 carry out the provisions of this Act.

23 SEC. 10. The Federal reclamation laws shall Ilot apply

24 with respect to projects financed under this Act, unless a

25 project be otherwise subject to the Federal reclamation laws.
