<br />Draw within the Town of Norwood, and that information is published in said new Floodplain <br />tit Information Report dated November 2000; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation strongly recommends to the Town of <br />Norwood that floodplain management practices be implemented for any future development along <br />the Ed Joe Draw floodplain even though the FEMA floodplain mapping depicts the entire <br />community of Norwood within Zone X for flood insurance purposes; and <br /> <br />DESIGNATION AND APPROVAL ACTION <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water Conservation Board in <br />regular meeting assembled in Denver, Colorado, this 20th day of November 2000, that it does hereby <br />designate and approve as approximate floodplain information the IOO-year floodplain delineations for <br />the Town of Norwood presented in said new Floodplain Information Report dated November 2000; <br />and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Colorado Water Conservation Board that it does hereby <br />acknowledge and rescind said map entitled "Flood Hazard Boundary, Town of Norwood, Colorado" <br />dated November 22, 1974; and <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Colorado Water Conservation Board that it does hereby <br />acknowledge said maps entitled "Flood Insurance Rate Maps, San Miguel County, Colorado" dated <br />September 30, 1992 and that said maps will be designated and approved under separate resolution by <br />the Colorado Water Conservation Board; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Board is directed to send a certified <br />copy ofthis resolution to Town of Norwood and the Federal Emergency Management Agency Region <br />8. <br /> <br />CERTIFICATE <br /> <br />I certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution adopted by a majority vote of the <br />members of the Colorado Water Conservation Board in regular session assembled at Denver, Colorado <br />on the 20th day of November 2000, at which a quorum was present. <br /> <br /> <br />Dan McAuliffe, Actin Director <br /> <br />res-S33.doc twb <br /> <br />tit <br /> <br />3 <br />
