I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Descriptions of Designated or Regulated Flood Hazard Areas 5-303 This jurisdiction hereby declares that all floodplains which are heretofore or hereafter identified and designated as flood hazard areas in order to meet the purposes and intent of these regulations shall be listed herein: (1) The flood hazard initial control area(s) shown on the following described map(s) were designated or subjected to regulation on (2) where sufficient data are available to determine the effect thereof on existing or foreseeable land uses, the flood- plain may be divided into a floodway zone and a low hazard zone. (3) The floodway and low hazard zones shown on the following described map(s) were designated or subjected to regu- lation on Flood Elevations Take Precedence Over Map Boundaries 5-304 The boundaries of all flood hazard areas on the above maps shall be established by flood elevations. In the event of conflict over the location of any such boundary as shown on the above maps, reference shall be made to the flood elevations which shall take precedence over the boundaries shown on the maps. Article 4. Applications and Permits 5-401 Procedural Requirements (1) The procedures concerning permit applications, hearings, review of permit authority decisions and issuance of per- mits set forth in Article 4 of the Administrative Regula- tions adopted by this jurisdiction shall be followed if the flood hazard area was designated pursuant to 8824-65. 1-101, et seq., C.R.S. 1973. (2) If the area was regulated under H.B. 1034 (1974), ~~29- 20-101, et seq., C.R.S. 1973, any procedures adopted by this jurisdiction pursuant to said II.B. 1034 (1974) shall control. I I I I 6-402 Application Fee Any application for a permit to engage in development in a designated flood hazard area shall be accompanied by non-refundable fees in the amount of not more than ten (10) percent of the total cost of the development but such fee shall be no greater than the -9-
