Designed and developed a direct <br />interface for the results of the USGS MODFLOW groundwater computer program and the ArcView <br />GIS software package. The interface allows dirl~ct viewing and analysis of MODFLOW results and <br />existing GIS data for a full geo-referenced comparison of pumping and groundwater impacts. <br />Multiple stress periods can be shown sequentially fm an animated view of groundwater movements <br />and pumping impacts. <br /> <br />Flood Plain Administrator, Aurora, Colorado. Rt:sponsible for all floodplain revision submittals <br />and approvals from FEMA for the City of Aurora. Duties included obtaining 404 permits from the <br />USCOE for floodplain work and obtain all conditional and finalleUers of map revision from FEMA. <br /> <br />West Tollgate Creek, Aurora, Colorado. Project Manager for floodplain delineation and <br />floodway analysis for several reaches of West Tollgate Creek through the City of Aurora. The <br />project included development of the HEC-2 hydraulil; model, numt:rous bridge and culvert crossings <br />and coordination ofthe revised channels with existing floodplain studies. <br /> <br />St. Vrain River, Longmont, Colorado. Project Engineer for the delineation of deven miles of the <br />St Vrain River through the City of Longmont and Boulder County. The project included the <br />development of the hydraulic model, analysis of numerous bridges and crossings, flow splits <br />throughout the study reach and final delineation of the regulatory floodway for the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board. <br /> <br />Horseshoe Park Channel Rehabilitation, Aurora, Colorado. Project Manager for a 2.1 million <br />channel restoration and rehabilitation for the City of Aurora. This unique project included channel <br />enlargement for flood conveyance and restoration of over fifty acres of urban wetlands as well as <br />numerous utility crossings and a new bike trail system for the park. The design for the <br />improvements was aided by an local citizens advisory group. The wetlands restoration was used as. <br />mitigation for other City of Aurora flood control projl~cts. <br /> <br />Sand Creek Channel Improvements, Aurora, ColOlrado. Project Engineer in a cooperative project <br />with the Urban Drainage and Flood Control Distri<:t involving a soil-cement lining for the Sand <br />Creek channel through the City of Aurora. The project had two unique pedestrian low-flow <br />crossings as part of the design as well as construction under an Interstate bridge crossing. <br /> <br />Little Dry Creek Channel Maintenance, Arapah(Jl,~ County, Colorado. PrOjl~ct Engineer for a. <br />channel restoration project along Arapahoe Road for the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District <br />The historic channel was rerouted away from a existing subdivision along Arapahoe Road in limited <br />ROW. A unique design was developed to allow for a maintainable channel within the confines of <br />the ROWand steep channel grade. <br /> <br />City of Louisville Master Drainage Study, Louisville, Colorado. Project Engineer for the <br />development of the hydrologic models for the master drainage plan for the City of Louisville. The <br />project was done in cooperation with the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District using the <br />CUHP hydrology model. The unique configuration of the basins in the area prompted a revision to <br />the standard proceedures for CUHP. <br /> <br />Slaughterhouse Gulch, Littleton, Colorado.
