Colorado <br /> <br />Dear Governor Thornton: <br /> <br />In accordance with Federal Inter-Agency River Basin Committee <br />procedure. we are transmitting for your information and comments <br />the Department of Agriculture's Survey Report on the Fountain <br />River Watershed, Colorado. <br /> <br />Pending further consideration of this proposed report by interested <br />Federal and State agencies. we have not obtained advice from the <br />Bureau of the Budget as to the relationship of the recommendations <br />contained therein to the program of the President. Therefore, the <br />report has not yet been made publiC. We are hopeful that we can <br />make it available for public release in the very near future. <br /> <br />It is our understanding that representatives of this Department <br />have consulted with representatives of the departments of your <br />State goverlllllent most concerned with the various aspects of the <br />proposed program. <br /> <br />The report on the Fountain River Watershed is one of several that <br />this Department plans to submit to the Congress during its next <br />session. To do this we would like to have your comments by <br />February 1. 1952. or earlier if convenient.
