Other Source Profile Base Line Sin~le-Point Attribute Codes 430 10/93 0350 Elevation Reference Mark (ERM) Comments This code identifies a line, whose source is other than the FIRM or USGS DLGs, that defines the location of a small stream (shown by a single line that represents the stream centerline) or a large stream (shown by double lines that represent the approximate locations of the stream banks). This code also identifies lines that represent the shorelines of bodies of water of any size (ponds, lakes, gulfs, oceans). The NFIP does not differentiate between manmade and natural shorelines, or perennial and non-perennial drainage, These features are shown by FIS symbol L2l5. This code identifies a line that delineates the flow path as represented by the flood profile for a given riverine flooding source, This line has no relationship to the physical stream channel; it may be shown by itself, or adjacent to a stream channel. It is shown by FIS symbol L220. This code identifies a degenerate line that represents the location of a survey control station that has an elevation referenced to a specific datum which may be NGVD of 1929 (de~ scriptive code 430 0620), NAVD 1988 (descriptive code 430 0621), or a local datum (descriptive code 430 0622).
