"Flood Plain Infonnation: South Platte River and Pawnee Creek, <br />Sterling, Colorado" prepared by the U.S. Amw Corps of Engineers (197B) <br />Omaha Oistrict made preliminary determinations of the extent of flooding in <br />Sterling from Pawnee Creek overflows in addition to the detailed analysis of <br />flooding ca~sed by the South Platte Ri~er. E,L. Bennett, P.E., a local <br />consulting engineer made studies of Pawnee Creek floods. His work. tho~gh <br />unp~blished is on file with the Director of Public Works. Additional <br />unpu~lished studie> by the U.S. Army Corps of [ngineers.a~hJ District Jlso <br />provided ibformation for the comphrehensive report.
