<br />TABLEt <br />(continued) <br /> <br />Flood Insurance Study, Town of Wellington, Federal Emergency 10/20/98 99-486 <br />Colorado, Larimer County Management Agency <br />Flood Insurance Study, City of Loveland, Federal Emergency 3/23/99 99-488 <br />Colorado, Lari/TU!T County Management Agency <br /> <br />; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Resolution No. 128 described floodplains on Boxelder Creek and Coal <br />Creek in the vicinity of the Town of Wellington and on the Big Thompson River in the vicinity <br />of the City of Loveland, as they were in September 1978; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Resolution No. 181 described floodplains on the Big Thompson River in <br />the vicinity of the City of Loveland, as they were in October 1981; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Resolution No. 227, which was prepared by the USDA Soil Conservation <br />Service to reflect the construction of flood control facilities in the Boxelder Creek and Coal <br />Creek watersheds, described floodplains in and adjacent to the Town of Wellington, as they were <br />in September 1983; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Resolution No. 94-350 did not include the detailed floodplain <br />information for the Big Thompson River which was readily available from Resolution No. 181, <br />and which was reflective of floodplain conditions on Big Thompson River in October 1981 as <br />well as on November 17, 1993; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Resolution No. 94-350 included detailed floodplain information for <br />Boxelder Creek derived directly from Resolution No. 227 but did not include the detailed <br />floodplain information for Coal Creek which was readily available from Resolution No. 227, and <br />which was reflective of floodplain conditions on Coal Creek in September 1983 as well as on <br />November 17, 1993; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, FEMA prepared a floodplain information report entitled "Flood <br />Insurance Study, Larimer County, Colorado, Unincorporated Areas", revised March 18, 1996, <br />which included detailed floodplain information for portions of Boxelder Creek further <br />downstream than the Town of Wellington, which information was consistent hydrologically with <br />the floodplain information contained in Resolution No. 94-350 for Boxelder Creek adjacent to <br />the Town{)fWeIHngton, but did not include floodplain information for any portions of the Big <br />Thompson River adjacent to the City of Loveland or for any portions of Boxelder Creek or Coal <br />Creek adjacent to the Town of Wellington, which study was designated and approved by the <br />Colorado Water Conservalion Board by Resolution No. 96-431 ; and <br /> <br />2 <br />
