5,000 feet of storm sewer, and the design of a l-mile reach of the Regional Channel.

. Project manager for the Golden Stonnwate.r Management Plan, City of Golden,
Colorado. This project included a review of the entire City drainage system in order to
identify drainage improvement requirements and prioritize specific flood control projects.
Hydrologic analyses, design of storm drainage systems and detention facilities, and cost-
benefit analyses were all conducted as part of this project.

. Project manager for the rehabilitation of Salt River Diversion structure (Etna Irrigation
District) near Jackson Hole, Wyoming; Hunt Canal Diversion structure near Lovell,
Wyoming; and Swon Canal Diversion Structure near Byron, Wyoming. These projects
included investigation of channel hydraulics, geomorphic evaluation of vertical and lateral
trends in the river and evaluation of long-term sediment transport and debris within the
river. Alternative diversion designs were prepared and included fish ladders and fish
screens. Efforts included investigation of long-term aggradation/degradation trends
involving sediment continuity principles.

. Project manager for the rehabilitation of hydraulic structures for the Goshen Irrigation
District near Torrington, Wyoming. This two-year project involves the analysis,
evaluation and design of improvements to a series of tunnels and inverted siphons through
a canal system with a maximum capacity of 1,500 cfs. The project also includes evaluation
and design of rehabilitation alternatives for a pump station along the Laramie River.
This task involved the hydraulic, geomorphic and sediment transport investigation of
the Laramie River along with evaluation and design of alternative pump stations (maximum
capacity 68 cfs).

· Project manager for the evaluation of the hydrology, hydraulics and geomorphic
investigation of Monroe Creek near Weiser, Idaho. The investigation was completed to
provide channel relocation options to the Idaho Transportation Department. It
included the hydrologic analysis of Monroe Creek, hydraulic analysis of the study reach
including bridge designs, and a sediment transport analysis of the existing and post
construction scenarios.

. Project engineer for the preparation of a design document and manual for river training
and bank stabilization works for the Department of Transport" Papua, New Guinea. The
project involved an intensive one-month field investigation of bed, bank and bridge
stability in rivers throughout Papua, New Guinea, development of design procedures and
mitigation measures for stabilizing the erosion problems, an And preparation of a manual
for selection and application of the appropriate stabilization measures.

· Principal engineer for the relocation and design of the LiUle Medicine Bow River in
Wyoming. The purpose of this project was to n:store the river to a stable configuration
following uranium mining and the design and construction of a bridge across the river.
Responsibilities included generation of hydrologic design discharges; development of
channel hydraulics to support floodplain, sedirru:nt transport, and bridge investigations;
geomorphic evaluation of the existing river channel, watershed, and bridge location; and
generation of design parameters for the proposed channel.
