IV. RElEVANT EXpERiENCE

I

Due to our location and previous project history, ACE staff members typically provide assistance
in the documentation of flooding and flood related damages on an on-going basis. The assistance provided
by ACE includes:

. Photodocumentation of flood conditions and flood damages;
. Determination and survey of high water lines and extent of flooding;
. Estimations of discharge;
. Evaluation of meteorological data;
. Assessment of flood related damages and estimation of dollar amount of damage; and
. Hydraulic evaluation of channel conditions and structures.

Likewise, Boyle has maintained a strong presence in the southern counties of the State. Their experience
includes work in each of the affected counties. Currently, Boyle is performing a study to quantifY and
analyze existing water resource data and information, which will be evaluated to develop a comprehensive
recommendation on how to develop the La Junta Water Treatment System over the next 20 years.
Available water supplies, including ground water, Arkansas River water, and wastewater reuse, will be
evaluated with respect to quality and quantity. Local water demands will be similarly evaluated.
Alternative supply system configurations to satisJy these demands will be prepared. Screening criteria will
be developed and used to select the three highest-ranked alternatives

[

In the pages that follow, we present descriptions of four projects completed by the Project Team
members which serve as examples of our experience and knowledge in these fields. Within each project
description, we concisely
summarize the project features,
problems encountered, and results.
We encourage you the contact the
clients we have listed for a critique
of our performance, budget control,
and client satisfaction.

.
