<br />WHEREAS, section 37-60-106(1)(c), Colorado Revised Statutes, <br />directs the Colorado Water, Conservation Board to designate and <br />approve storm or floodwater runo~f channels or basins and to make <br />such designations available to legislative bodies of local <br />jurisdictions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the staff of the. Board has reviewed said revised <br />information and data and does hereby recommend to the Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board that the Board designate and approve as <br />floodplain areas those areas inundated by a lOO-year flood <br />(intermediate regional flood) <:Is described by the floodwater <br />surface elevations and profiles in said new report, and further <br />recommends that the floodwater surface elevations and profiles <br />(only) for Fortification Creek, Brotherton Gulch, Pine Ridge <br />Gulch, and Cedar Mountain Gulch within the corporate limits of <br />the City of Craig, Moffat County, Colorado as approved by <br />Resolution No. 112. adopted Nov~mber 1, 1978, be rescinded; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the staff of the Board recommends that the detailed <br />base mapping in the floodplain i~formation report dated November, <br />1977, be used by the community for its administration of <br />floodplain management programs; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water Conser- <br />vation Board in regular meeting assembled in Denver, Colorado, <br />this 13th day of July, 1984, that it does hereby designate and <br />approve as floodplain areas those areas described as being <br />inundated by a lOO-year flood as described by the floodwater <br />surface elevations and profiles in said new report. dated March <br />28, 1984, and does hereby rescind those said portions of <br />Resolution No. 112, dated November, 1977; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Board is <br />directed to send a certified copy of this resolution to the City <br />of Craig; the Board of County Cornmissioners of Moffat County; the <br />U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District; and the <br />Federal Emergency Management Age~cy. <br /> <br />C E R TIt I CAT E <br /> <br />I certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a <br />resolution adopted by a majority vote of the members of the <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board in regular session assembled at <br />Denver, Colorado, on the 13th day of July. 1984, at which a <br />quorum was present. <br /> <br /> <br />, jt/itJp>v~ A <br /> <br />william McDonald, Secretary <br /> <br />
