S. Army Corps of <br />Engineers, Sacramento District, at the request of the City of <br />Craig and Moffat County, Colorado; and <br /> <br />) <br />-- <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested <br />by the City of Craig, by Resolution No. 112 adopted November 1, <br />1978, approved and designated the floodp-lains described in said <br />report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a new report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, City <br />of Craig" Moffat County, Colorado," which includes floodplain <br />information and data for Fortification Creek, Brotherton Gulch, <br />pine Ridge Gulch, and Cedar Mountain Gulch, dated March 28, 1984, <br />prepared by MSM Consultants, Inc., under contract with the Federal <br />Emergency Management Agency; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said new report descr ibes and <br />floodplain data and information for the storm <br />runoff channels or basins of the study area; and <br /> <br />outlines the <br />and floodwater <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Craig has requested the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board to designate and approve the floodplain areas <br />as set forth in the aforesaid new report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />requires the <br />prevention of <br /> <br />Section 37-60-106(1), Colorado Revised Statutes, <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board to assist in the <br />floods and flood damages therefrom; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Sections 31-23-301 and 30-28-111, Colorado Revised <br />Statutes, provide that such legislative bodies of local <br />jurisdictions may provide' zoning regulations for land uses on or <br />along any storm or floodwater runoff channel or basin only after <br />designation and approval by the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board; and <br /> <br />128 <br />res!232 <br />
