<br />Work Elements 2 and 5. The Town of Estes Park held a <br />Public Hearing on October 26, 1982 for a Community <br />Development Block Grant administered by the Colorado <br />Department of Local Affai.rs in the ,amount of $400,000. <br />Funds would be applied to convert floodplain land to open <br />space in those locations where heavily damaged structures <br />were removed, The Federal Emergency Management Agency <br />through the National Flood Insurance program has indicated <br />they will purchase the villagE!r Motel property and deed the <br />land to the Town of Estes Park for Open Space. <br /> <br />Work Element 3. Acquisition of flood damaged properties <br />under Section 1362 of the National Flood Insurance program <br />is underway with the pose ible acquisition of the following <br />properties: <br /> <br />1.
