Recommendations

This report represents the culmination of several studies on the flooding potential of

Grange Hall Creek and its tributaries. The studies have included hydrologic studies,

hydraulic studies, potential flood damage studies, flood plain improvemellt studies, cost

evaluation studies, and other studies related to the above.

The maill purpose of the studies on Grange Hall Creek was to develop feasible

alternatives for consideration by Adams County, Northglenn, Thornton, and the U.D. and

F.C.D. for possible implementation to eliminate existing and future flood hazards and to

reduce flood damage costs associated with Grange Hall Creek. The preliminary design of

the accepted alternative has been completed and is included as part of this report.

The alternative selected for each reach of Grange Hall Creek and its tributaries

consists in general of the following:

25
