.

.

Honorable Allen Williams
Page Two

As mentioned above, the revised zones and elevations are effective as of
the date of the enclosed FIP~; however, within 90 days of the second
publication in The Adams County Almanac, which should appear within two
weeks of this letter, a citizen may request the Federal Insurance
Administrator to reconsider this determination. Any request for reconsid-
eration must be based on scientific or technical data. All interested
parties are on notice that until the 90-day period elapses, the Admin-
istrator's determination to modify zones and elevations may itself be
modified.

We encourage you to disseminate widely throughout the community the
information on the elevation changes in order that interested persons
may offer new information or comments. Enclosed is a copy of the notice
we will be publishing in a prominent local newspaper.

A Consultation Coordination Officer (CCO) has been designated to assist
you with any problems you may have concerning the new elevations. The
CCO will be the primary liaison between your community and the Federal
Insurance Administration. He is Mr. Jerome Olson, located at the
Department Regional Office in Denver.

Mr. Jerome Olson
FIA Regional Director
Room 311
909 17th Street
Denver, Colorado 80202

He can be reached at (303) 837-5041.
