This determination
amends the FIRM which was in effect prior to this datea

Public notification of these changes, made in determination of elevations,
will be given in The Adams County Almanac on september 28, 1978 and
October 5, 1978. In addition, notice of changes will be published in
the Federal Register.

The modification of base flood elevations has been made pursuant to
Section 206 of the Flood Disaster Protection Act of 1973 (P.L. 93-234)
and is in accordance with the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968, as
amended, (Title XIII of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968,
P.L. 90-448) 42 U.S.C. 4001-4128, and 24 CFR Part 1916.

As of the date of the revised FIRM, the new community number suffix code
is 080006 0005C. This number and new suffix code will be used by the
National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) for all flood insurance policies
and renewals issued for your community.

AS required by the legislation, a community must adopt and enforce flood
plain management measures to ensure continued eligibility to participate
in the NFIP. Therefore, the City of Commerce City must enforce these
regulations using the revised zones and elevations in the special flood
hazard areas, shown on the enclosed Flffi1.
