June 17, 1965 Flood Much more data is available on this flood,since 9 weather bureau rain gages recorded the rainfall within the drain- age basin above Elbert. The rainfall was concentrated heaviest near the headwaters of East Kiowa Creek, where nearly 8 inches was recorded. The following lists the recorded rainfalls.
