June 17, 1965 Flood <br /> <br />Much more data is available on this flood,since 9 <br />weather bureau rain gages recorded the rainfall within the drain- <br />age basin above Elbert. The rainfall was concentrated heaviest <br />near the headwaters of East Kiowa Creek, where nearly 8 inches <br />was recorded.
