In addition, the prop- <br />erty owners incurred over $3,500 in indirect costs. Collier County <br /> <br />The stmcture was elevated as a part of the comprehensive strategy to <br />reduce disaster vulnerahility throughout Collier County hy retrofitting <br />floodprone stmctures, specifically targeting repetitive loss <br />properties. On April 26, 2001, <br />the City and homeowner completed all necessary closing activities associated \lith acquiring the structure. <br /> <br />fee ') T "J 'uSSR' <br />. The City was in the process of finalizing activities to demolish the structure when Tropical Storm Allison hit Tallahassee. As a result of <br />this event, the interior of the structure was inundated by more than four feet of water and would have been considered more than 50% <br />damaged. However, since the stmcture was vacant, both the former homeowner and the dty were spared the cost associated "ith <br />responding to and recovering from this event. <br />.
