The <br />result will be a decision on the level of <br />protection to be provided by flood mitigation <br />measures, and a short-list of not more than <br />three concepts deserving further evaluation. <br /> <br />4.2 <br /> <br />The Consultant will prepare conceptual <br />layouts, designs and cost estimates for <br />structural mitigation measures, and <br />procedures and costs for implementing <br />nonstructural measures. Advantages and <br />disadvantages of each concept will be <br />considered. Results will be presented to <br />County and Town staff, who will select the <br />recommended flood mitigation plan. <br /> <br />Task 6 - Reports <br /> <br />6. 1 The Consultant will prepare text, maps and <br />drawings to describe the flood mitigation plan. <br />This will consist of a stand-alone flood <br />control master plan for Georgetown. A draft <br />master plan report will be submitted for review <br />and comment, after which a final report will <br />be prepared. <br /> <br />6.2 The Consultant will prepare the technical <br />sections of the Local Pre-Disaster Flood <br />Hazard Mitigation Plan report. This will <br />include text and appropriate graphics. Draft <br />report material will be submitted for review <br />and comments. Final report materials will be <br />submitted to County staff in hardcopy and <br />electronic format for incorporation into the <br />final Local Pre-Disaster Flood Hazard <br />Mitigation Plan report. <br /> <br />Client Responsibilities <br /> <br />County and Town staff will provide any available <br />topographic mapping, aerial photography, previous <br />flood studies, and information related to past <br />flooding events. <br /> <br />County staff will prepare the non-technical portions <br />of the Local Pre-Disaster Flood Hazard Mitigation <br />Plan. <br /> <br />County staff will prepare the final Local Pre- <br />Disaster Flood Hazard Mitigation Plan report. <br /> <br />County and Town staff will organize and conduct <br />public meetings or workshops. <br /> <br />4.3 <br /> <br />The Consultant will refine the recommended <br />flood mitigation plan elements and cost <br />estimates. This will include a prioritized <br />implementation plan for the various plan <br />components. <br /> <br />Task 5 - Coordination <br /> <br />5.1 <br /> <br />The Consultant will coordinate flood <br />mitigation planning activities with County and <br />Town departments, the State of Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board, and with other <br />resource agencies with potential projects <br />which could affect the plan. <br /> <br />5.2 <br /> <br />The Consultant will attend one public meeting <br />or workshop to gain public support for the <br />flood hazard mitigation plan. <br /> <br />((II) MONTGOMERY WATSON . 3-2 <br />
