<br />OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL <br />GRANADA FLOOD CONTROL PROJECT <br />GRANADA, COLORADO <br /> <br />PART I - GENERAL <br /> <br />CHAPTER 1 - INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />1-01 Authority. This manual is prepared and furnished pursuant to <br />ER 1130-2-304, Project Operations, and Title 33, Navigation and Navigable <br />Waters, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 208, Flood Control Regulations, <br />Section 208.10, Local Flood Control Works; Maintenance and Operation of <br />Structures and Facilities. <br /> <br />1-02 Purpose. This manual provides basic guidance and instructions to <br />the town of Granada, for proper operation and maintenance of the Granada <br />Flood Control Project. <br /> <br />1-03 Parts of Manual. The manual is composed of two parts: <br /> <br />a. Part I - GENERAL provides information about the manual and describes <br />the project. <br /> <br />b. Part II - OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE presents brief descriptions of <br />the major project facilities and basic instructions for their proper <br />operation and maintenance, <br /> <br />1-04 Scope of Manual. This manual contains only basic essential operation <br />and maintenance instructions. It is written for personnel assigned to the <br />project who should familiarize themselves with its contents, frequently read <br />it to maintain familiarity and refer to it during times of emergency or when <br />there is any question about proper operation and maintenance. <br /> <br />-1- <br />
