overflowed its banks one-half mile south
of Fountain Boulevard. One bridge WaS Nashcd

and the Bradley noad cutoff were washed-

and stockwater dams were badly damaged.

Approximately SSO,OOO damages were sus~
tained in the Sand Creek region during
this flood. Roads and bridges ~'e:re badly
damaged in the Kelker Road area. A bridge
on Aque Lane wa, "<lshed-out, Po~'er5 Boule-
vard WaS ~'a5hed-out and ,j"l"lli",- u,,"'''!':~~
on Fountain Boulevard were sustained. The
flondcaTTicdears,wood,fences, etc.,
1.24 inches of rain fell in a 2~hour
span; one life was lost ill this flood.
