<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />FPR 93-341 <br /> <br />COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD <br />721 State Centennial Building <br />1313 Sherman Street <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br /> <br />March 5, 1993 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by the City of <br />Boulder and the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District, has approved and designated <br />the floodplains described in a number of floodplain information reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the floodplains are described in reports entitled "Flood Hazard Area <br />Delineation, Boulder Creek," dated January, 1983, designated and approved by Resolution <br />No, 215 adopted on May 5, 1983; "Flood Hazard Area Delineation, South Boulder Creek," <br />dated July, 1986, designated and approved by Resolution No, 265 adopted on November 18, <br />1986; and "Flood Hazard Area Delineation, Boulder and Adjacent County Drainageways," <br />dated May, 1987, which includes Bear Canyon Creek, Skunk Canyon Creek, Bluebell <br />Canyon Creek, King's Gulch, Gregory Canyon Creek, Sunshine Canyon Creek Sunshine <br />Canyon Tributary, Goose Creek, Twomile Canyon Creek, Elmer's Twomile Creek, <br />Wonderland Creek, and Fourmile Canyon Creek, designated and approved by Resolution <br />No. 281 adopted on October 1, 1987; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by the City of <br />Boulder, Colorado, has approved and designated new floodplains delineated for the Federal <br />Emergency Management Agency Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) process for portions of <br />Bear Canyon Creek by Resolution No. 295 dated May 11, 1989; portions of Skunk Creek <br />by Resolution No. 296 dated May 11, 1989; and portions of Boulder Creek by Resolution <br />No. 297 dated May 11, 1989; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a Flood Insurance Study entitled "Flood Insurance Study, City of <br />Boulder, Colorado, Boulder County," dated August 4, 1988, delineated floodplains for <br />Arapahoe Avenue Overflow (1.1 miles); Bear Canyon Creek (2.84 miles); Boulder Creek <br />(3,5 miles); Dry Creek (1.0 mile); Elmer's Twomile Creek (0.90 mile); Fourmile Canyon <br />Creek (6,77 miles); Goose Creek (3.16 miles); North Goose Creek (0.70 mile); Skunk Creek <br />(1.85 mile); South Boulder Creek (9.41 miles); Twomile Creek (1.75 miles) and Wonderland <br />Creek (3,60 miles); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said report, dated August 4, 1988 has not been designated by the <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board; and <br />
