<br />Board designate and approve as floodplain areas those areas <br />inundated by a 100-year flood (intermediate regional flood) as <br />described by the floodwater surface elevations and profiles for <br />Tallman Gulch upstream of a point approximately 1.400 feet <br />upstream of the section line between Sections 23 and 26. <br />Township 6 South, Range 66 West in said new Flood Insurance <br />Study and those areas delineated as Zone A for Jordan Road <br />Tributary. Oak Gulch, unnamed tributary to Cherry Creek, and <br />Lemon Gulch contained in said new Flood Insurance Study, and <br />further recommends that the floodplain designation for those <br />portions of Cherry Creek, Sulphur Gulch, Tallman Gulch, unnamed <br />tributary to Tallman Gulch. unnamed tributary to Cherry Creek. <br />and Lemon Gulch within the 1987 corporate limits of the Town of <br />Parker, as approved by Resolution No. 164, adopted September 9, <br />1980, be rescinded; <br /> <br />NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board in regular meeting assembled in Denver, <br />Colorado, this 11th day of December, 1987. that it does hereby <br />designate and approve as floodplain areas those said portions <br />of Tallman Gulch described as being inundated by a 100-year <br />flood, as described by the floodwater surface elevations and <br />profiles in said new Flood Insurance Study; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board does hereby designate <br />as storm or floodwater runoff channels or basins those said <br />areas delineated as Zone A in the said new Food Insurance <br />Study. contained in said new report, dated September 30,1987, <br />contingent upon the understanding that the Town of Parker will <br />regulate the storm and floodwater runoff channels (Zone A) on a <br />case-by-case basis subject to a detailed hydrologic and <br />hydraulic analysis by a professional engineer, and does hereby <br />rescind that said portion of Resolution No. 164. dated <br />September 9, 1980; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Board is <br />directed to send a certified copy of this resolution to the <br />Town of Parker, the Board of County Commissioners of Douglas <br />County. the Colorado Division of Disaster Emergency Services. <br />and the Federal Emergency Management Agency. <br /> <br />Q ~ R !
