Tammen & Bergendoff. under <br />contract with the Federal Emergency Management Agency. <br />completed in March 1980 a report entitled "Flood Insurance <br />Study, Douglas County, Colorado. Unincorporated Areas"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. said report included detailed floodplain <br />information for Cherry Creek. Sulphur Gulch and Tallman Gulch. <br />and floodprone areas (Zone A). which are approximate <br />floodplains. for unnamed tributary to Tallman Gulch. unnamed <br />tributary to Cherry Creek and Lemon Gulch within the 1987 <br />corporate limits of the Town of Parker; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. the Colorado Water Conservation Board. as <br />requested by Douglas County. by Resolution No. 164. adopted <br />September 9. 1980, designated and approved the floodplains <br />described in said report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. the ColoradO Water Conservation Board. <br />request of the Town of Parker. completed in December <br />report entitled "Flood Hazard Identification Report, <br />Gulch Tributary No. I, Parker, Colorado"; and <br /> <br />at the <br />1986 a <br />Tallman <br /> <br />WHEREAS. <br />requested by <br />January 23, <br />described in <br /> <br />the Colorado Water <br />the Town of Parker. by <br />1987. designated and <br />said report; and <br /> <br />Conservation <br />Resolution No. <br />approved the <br /> <br />Board. as <br />268, ' adopted <br />floodplains <br /> <br />WHEREAS. a new report ent i tIed "Flood Insurance Study. Town <br />of Parker. Colorado. Douglas County," dated September 30. 1987. <br />has been prepared by the Federal Emergency Management Agency; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. said new Flood Insurance Study describes and <br />outlines detailed floodplain information for the storm and <br />floodwater runoff channels or basins for Cherry Creek. Sulphur <br />Gulch and Tallman Gulch within the study area in a manner that <br />is consistent with certain floodplain delineation reports which <br />were prepared by the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District <br />and by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, as set <br />forth in the Table of Source Floodplain Reports. attached <br />hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. and which <br /> <br />5115E <br />
