<br />WHEREAS, Section37-60-106(1)( c), Colorado Revised Statutes, directs the Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board to designate and approve storm or floodwater runoff channels <br />or basins and to make such designations available to legislative bodies of local jurisdictions; <br />and <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the said new report meets all of the requirements as detailed floodplain <br />information under the Board's "Rules and Regulations for the Designation and Approval <br />of Floodplains and of Storm or Floodwater Runoff Channels in Colorado" (2 CCR 408-Rule <br />1); and <br /> <br />NOW, 1HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board in regular meeting assembled in Denver, Colorado, this 10th day of November, 1992, <br />that it does hereby designate and approve as detailed floodplain information the 100-year <br />floodplain as described by the floodwater surface elevations and profiles in said new report, <br />dated July 15, 1992, for the study reach of we Colorado River and the Grand Valley Canal, <br />and does hereby rescind those portions of Resolution No. 80, dated September 23, 1977 <br />which includes detailed floodplain informlltion on the Colorado River for the Town of <br />Palisade within its corporate limits as of September 15, 1992 for an estimated stream reach <br />of 1.4 miles; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Board is directed to send <br />a certified copy of this resolution to the Board of County Commissioners of Mesa County; <br />the Town of Palisade, Colorado; the Colorado Office of Emergency Management; and the <br />Federal Emergency Management Agency. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />CERTIFICATE <br /> <br />I certify that the foregoing is a true and COrrect copy of a resolution adopted by a <br />majority vote of the members of the Colorlldo Water Conservation Board in regular session <br />assembled at Denver, Colorado, on the 10th day of November, 1992, at which a quorum was <br /> <br />present. c7:~hL:A <br /> <br />Daries C.
