Assume flow easement for land between levees if land can still be farmed <br /> <br />Using the conceptual design, an estimate of construction quantities was prepared for the proposed <br />improvements. These quantities were tabulated and assigned a unit cost, lIDd a construction cost was <br />determined. Unit costs were derived from values published by FEMA (G.2 Numeric Cost Code <br />Listing for Region 8). Where needed, the published rates were supplemented and altered to reflect <br />local conditions with additional unit prices derived from actua1 bid tabulations for similar work as <br />published by the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District. Primary unit costs for each item are <br />presented in the following table. <br /> <br />III-26 <br />
