The board has been requested to develop precipita- <br />tion-runoff standards. This information is needed by state and <br />lOcal governments for evaluating the effects of proposed development <br />to existing runoff channels and basins within the state. <br /> <br />The areas of interest that we request the Corps to <br />consider are as follows: <br /> <br />1. Runoff Characteristics <br /> <br />The Cache la Poudre River basin is undergoing rapid <br />change in land use. This change is taking place thrOughout the <br />basin. We feel the runoff rates are different for the mountainous, <br />foothills, and pl~ins regions. <br /> <br />./ <br />
