Post Office and Courthouse <br />Omaha, Nebraska 68102 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Velehradsky: <br /> <br />We have reviewed the final draft copy of the proposed Cache la Poudre <br />Companion Flood Plain ,Information Study, which you forwarded by letter dated <br />Apdl 7, 1977. <br /> <br />This study has the endorsement of the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board for the development of technical information and data to assist the state <br />and loCal. governments in the establishment of guidelinea and regulations for the <br />Cache la' Poudre basin. <br /> <br />This office is gratified that the Corps of Engineers has acknowledged <br />our recommendations as provided to you by 1ette~ dated-February 15, 1977. The <br />study programs if fully implemented will undoubtedly provide technical assistance <br />which will be useful to the basin communities. <br /> <br />We would like to further recommend upon Commencement of study activities <br />that your office appoint a project manager. This action will provide.the state <br />and local governments ~ith a mechanism for direct liaison for this pilot study <br />program. <br /> <br />We".would appreciate it if you would coordinate your efforts with <br />Mr. Larry F.
