CWCB. <br />the burning of the railroad bridge and <br />replacement of the bridge by R.I.R.R. <br />,two five-foot culverts. Town expresses <br />concern about the effect on floodplains. <br /> <br />of <br />the <br />with <br />their <br /> <br />Town of Limon sends Bill Stanton. CWCB. <br />photos of trestle bridge on August 11. 1978. <br /> <br />CWCB - Bill Stanton -- Letter to Rock Island <br />Railroad expresses concern over culverts' <br />replacement by R.R. Requests as-built <br />drawings of the original bridge. <br /> <br />USDA Soil Conservation Service inspected <br />Rock Island Railroad replacement of two <br />10-inch diameter metal corrugated metal pipes <br />(Figure 3) and express concern over low flow <br />capacity of tubes. <br /> <br />Rock Island Railroad letter to Bill Stanton. <br />CWCB. concerning culvert replacement. Letter <br />states "the two culverts were installed as a <br />temporary measure to restore rail traffic <br />after the four track bridge was destroyed by <br />firell. <br /> <br />CWCB Bill Stanton published Floodplain <br />Information Report. "New Flood Hazard" at <br />Limon. Report investigates R. I.R.R. trestle <br />and new flood profiles from reduced R.R. <br />track - reduced culvert trestle openings. <br /> <br />Bill Stanton. CWCB. in a letter to Town of <br />Limon advises that a significant flood hazard <br />has been increased in that portion of the <br />town immediately upstream from the the <br />railroad embankment. <br /> <br />-14- <br />
