<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />FPR 92-331 <br /> <br />COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD <br />721 State Centennial Building <br />1313 Sherman Street <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br /> <br />September 15, 1992 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District, completed a <br />floodplain information report entitled "Flood Hazard Information, Colorado River and <br />Tributaries, Grand Junction, Colorado" in November 1976; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by Mesa County, <br />by Resolution No. 79, adopted on September 23, 1977, approved and designated the <br />floodplains in said report; and . <br /> <br />WHEREAS, MSM Consultants, Inc., under contract to the Federal Emergency <br />Management Agency, completed a floodplain information report entitled "Flood Insurance <br />Study, City of Grand Junction, Colorado, Mesa County" on July 6, 1982; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by the City of <br />Grand Junction, by Resolution No. 208, adopted on January 7, 1983, approved and <br />designated the floodplains described in said report and rescinded those portions of <br />Resolution No. 79 that were within the corporate limits of the City of Grand Junction on <br />July 6, 1982; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, J. F. Sato and Associates, under contract to the Federal Emergency <br />Management Agency, completed a floodplain information report entitled "Flood Insurance <br />Study, Mesa County, Colorado, Unincorporated Areas" on July 15, 1992; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by Mesa County, <br />by Resolution No. 92-330, adopted on September 15, 1992, approved the floodplains <br />described in said report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a new report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, City of Grand Junction, <br />Colorado, Mesa County" revised July 15, 1992 has been prepared by the Federal Emergency <br />Management Agency; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said new report includes detailed floodplain information for the <br />following streams: <br />
