RIO GRANDE COUNTY
PRELIMINARY PLAN CHECK LIST
RIVERSIDE ESTATES

Statement concerning Water Consumption, Supply and Distribution.

The water will be derived either thru a plan of augmentation or change of point

of diversion for separate wells for each separate lot. The present plan is to

obtain separate wells thru approval of Planning Commission and hopefully from

an affirmative report from the State Engineer or for a hydropneumatic system.

There is an adjudicated well which is in the watershed of the Rio Grande

River at a point 2240 feet from ~e East seciton line and 1875 feet from the South

section line in the Nwisw% of Section 29, Township 40 North. Range 3 East N.M.P.M.

The water is from the unconfined acquifer. The well is 32 feet in depth and the

casing is 12 inch in diameter and is unperforated to a depth of 32 feet and per-

forated not at all. It produces 15 gallons of water per minute, being .033 cubic

feet of water per second of time, being .066 acres feet of water ln a period of

24 hours by pumping. The priority date is July I, 1950 for the 15 gallons per

minute and is for domestic purposes. See water exhibit prepared by Davis En-

gineering.
