The term manufactuTed home does not <br />include park trailers. and other similar vehi- <br />cles. To be eligible for coverage under this <br />policy. a manufactured home must be on a per- <br />manent foundation and. if located in a <br />FEMA designated Special HazaTd ATea. must <br />meet the requirements of paragraph H. of AT- <br />ticle 6. <br />Mobile home means a manufactuTed home. <br />National Flood InsuTance Program means the <br />program of flood insurance coverage and <br />floodplain management administered under <br />the Act and applicable Federal regula.tions in <br />Title 44 of the Code of Federal Regula.tioD3. <br />Subchapter B. <br />Policy means the entire written contract <br />between the Insured and the Insurer. includ- <br />ing this printed form. the appliQ1tion. and <br />declaTations page. any endorsements which <br />ma.y be issued and any renewal certificates <br />indicating tha.t coverage bas been instituted <br />for a new policy and policy term. Only one <br />building. specijjcal/y described by the Insured in <br />the application. may be insuTed under this pol- <br />icy. unless application to COVeT mOTe than one <br />builai'ng ;" made on a form (fr in a format ap- <br />proved fOT that purpose by the Federal InsuT- <br />= AdministTatOT. <br />Post-FIRM building means a building for <br />which the start of construction or substan- <br />tial improvement occurred a.fter December <br />31. 1974. or on or after the effective date of <br />the initial Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) <br />for the community in which the building is <br />located. whichever is later. <br />Pre-FIRM Tared building means a building <br />for which the start of construction or sub- <br />stantial improvement occurred on or before <br />December 31. 1974. or before the effective <br />date of the initial FIRM for the community <br />in which the building is located. whichever is <br />later. <br />Probation Additional Premium means a nat <br />charge per policy term paid by the Insured on <br />all new and renewal policies issued covering <br />property in a community tha.t bas been <br />placed on probation under the provisions of <br />44 CFR 59.24. <br />Regu/aT ProgTam Community means a com- <br />munity wherein a FIRM is in effect and full <br />limits of coverage are ava.ila.ble under the <br />Act. <br />Residential Condominium Building means a <br />building owned by the members of a con- <br />dominium association containing one or more <br />residential units and in which at least 75% of <br /> <br />pt. 61. App. A(2) <br /> <br />the noor area within the build'ing is residen- <br />tial. <br />Special hazaTd aTea means an area having <br />special flood, mudslide (Le.. mlldOow). and/or <br />flood-related erosion hazards. ..nd shown on a <br />FHBM or FIRM 8.S Zone A. M or E. <br />Unit means a unit in the insured Condomin- <br />ium Building. <br />Valued policy means a polic'Y contract in <br />which the Insurer and the Inaured agree on <br />the value of the property insured. that value <br />being payable in event of total loss. <br />Walled and Roofed means tile building bas <br />in place two or more exterior. rigid walls and <br />the roof is fully secured so that the building <br />will resist flotation. collapo;.e and lateral <br />movement. <br /> <br />Article 3-Losses Not COVeTed <br /> <br />The Insurer only provides coverage for di- <br />Teet physical loss by OT from flo<.d which means <br />the following are not covered: <br />A. Any increased cost of ""pair or recon- <br />struction 8.S a result of any (,rdinance regu- <br />lating reconstruction or repair except 8.S pro- <br />vided in Coverage D- Increased Cost of Com- <br />pliance. <br />7. Any other economic loss. <br />E. Losses from other casualties. including loss <br />caused by: <br />1. Theft. fire. windstorm. ,,'indo explosion. <br />earthquake. land sinkage. landslide. desta- <br />bilization or movement of land resulting <br />from the accumulation of water in ,sub- <br />surface land areas. gradual "rosion. or any <br />other earth movement except such mudslides <br />(Le.. mudflows) or erosion as is covered <br />under the peril of flood. <br />2. Rain; snow. sleet. hail or water spray. <br />3. Land subsidence. sewer backup. or seep- <br />age of water unless. subjecl, to additional <br />deductibles as provided for at Article 7. (a) <br />there is a general and temporary condition <br />of nooding in the area, (b) thE' flOOding is the <br />proximate cause of the land subsidence. <br />sewer backup. or seepage of water.
