'Coordination Procedures with Colorado Water <br />Resources and Power Development Authority <br /> <br />Backqround <br /> <br />The attached procedure has been jointly prepared with the <br />Authority staff to deal with CWCB review of any potential <br />Authority project inVOlving raw water diversion or storage <br />facilities. You will recall that the need for a coordinated <br />procedure resulted from an early project under consideration <br />by the Authority where it could not be initially determined <br />whether or not instream flow appropriations could be <br />affected. Consequently, a means for better communication and <br />coordination was deemed desirable. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />The draft procedure establishes an approach for a review <br />by CWCB staff and consideration by the Board with key dates <br />and the information to be conveyed identified. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />I recommend approval of the procedure.
