<br />.- <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Page two <br /> <br />An environmental contractor, ACZ, Inc, has been selected by the Forest Service <br />with the intent that field work will be accomplished this summer and a draft <br />EIS scheduled for late this fall. The final EIS should be in place by April <br />of 1993.' A copy of the Court approved conditional filing (89-CW-39) by <br />Steamboat Springs for an additional 2,000 acre-feet of storage is enclosed as <br />Attachment A. The City is presently in the process of filing for an <br />additional 200 acre-feet of storage. <br /> <br />PROJECT COSTS AND FINANCIAL PLAN <br /> <br />A project cost estimate (from the Woodward-Clyde report), and a proposed <br />program to finance the project, are provided on Attachments Band C. The <br />capital cost of the project is estimated as $4.8 million in 1991 dollars. The <br />District anticipates financing $4.5 million of the project through loans from <br />the Colorado Water Conservation Board and the Colorado Water Resources and <br />Power Development Authority, with the balance of costs to be available from a <br />$1.5 million cash reserve held by the District. <br /> <br />2 <br />
