The Board of County <br />Commissioners, County of Eagle, State of Colorado, has <br />scheduled a public hearing on September 23, 1980, at 4:00 <br />P.M. in the Board of County Commissioners' meeting room, <br />McDonald Building, 550 Broadway, Eagle, Colorado, 81631, <br />to consider adoption of floodplain regulations for the <br />unincorporated territory of E~gle County, of which a <br />copy of same has been previously submitted to your office <br />for review and comment. The proposed floodplain regulations <br />shall regulate the storm and floodwater runoff channels <br />(Zone A) on a case-by-case basis subject to a detailed <br />hydrologic and hydraulic analysis by a professional <br />engineer. <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners and this office had assumed <br />that said 3oa,d had p~eviously reyuested the Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board to designate and approve as floodplain <br />areas those areas inundated by a 100-year flood as described <br />by the floodwater surface elevations and profiles set forth <br />in a report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, Eagle County, <br />Colorado, Unincorporated Areas", which includes floodplain <br />information and data for Buffehr Creek, Eagle River at Minturn, <br />Fryingpan River, Taylor Creek, Brush Creek, Roaring Fork River, <br /> <br />
