<br />!e <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY <br />FEDERAL INSURANCE ADMINISTRATION <br /> <br />STANDARD FLOOD INSURANCE POLICY <br />DWELLING FORM <br /> <br />NOTICE OF ENDORSEMENT <br /> <br />Increased Deductibles for Certain Policies <br />and Related Changes <br /> <br />A change in the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) regulations published in the <br />Federal Register on May 7, 1992, at Volume 57, pages 19539-19542, has endorsed your <br />Standard Flood Insurance Policy to read as follows in the indicated Articles below: <br /> <br />1. Article II--Definitions - in the definition of "Direct Physical Loss by or from <br />Flood", the phrase "for buildings in an amount up to the amount of the minimum <br />building deductible" is removed and, in place thereof, the phrase "for buildings in <br />an amount not to exceed $500" is added and the phrase "for contents in an <br />amount up to the amount of the minimum contents deductible." is removed and, <br />in place thereof, the phrase "for contents in an amount not to exceed $500." is <br />added. <br /> <br />2, Article IV--Property Covered (Subject to "Property Not Covered" Provisions) - in <br />paragraph A.7., the phrase "up to the amount of the minimum building <br />deductible," is removed and, in place thereof, the phrase "not to exceed $500," is <br />added. <br /> <br />3. Article VI--Deductibles - paragraph C. is redesignated as paragraph D, and a new <br />paragraph C, is added, as follows: <br /> <br />C. For any flood insurance policy issued or renewed for a property located in an <br />Emergency Program community or for any property located in a Regular <br />Program community in Zones A, AD, AH, AI-30, AE, VD, VI-30, VE, or V <br />where the rates available for buildings built before the effective date of the <br />Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM)* are used to compute the premium, the <br />amount of the deductible for each loss occurrence is determined as follows: <br />We shall be liable only when such loss exceeds $750.00, or the amount of any <br /> <br />*This includes buildings built after the effective date of the FIRM but before <br />December 31, 1974, <br /> <br />October 1992 <br /> <br />POL 23 <br />
