<br />; and <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said new report for Douglas County, revised March 15, 1993, is inconsistent <br />with Resolutions Nos. 96-428 and 96-429 regarding the reach listed in Table 4 below, based on revised <br />approximate hydraulic information published as part of 96-428 and 96-429 : <br /> <br />TABLE 4 <br />Approximate Floodplain Information Which Is Inconsistent With <br />Previouslv Desi2l1ated Floodpla1n Information From the 1996 FIS for Parker <br />And From the 1996 FIS for Douglas County <br /> <br />Stream Reach Previous Desil!nation <br />Jordan Road Tributary from its confluence with Newlin Gulch upstream to the corporate limit FPR # 96-428 and <br />of the Town of Parker approximately 600 feet sauth of the crossine of Stonegate Parkway FPR # 96-429 <br /> <br />; and <br /> <br />LOCAL REQUEST FOR DESIGNATION ACTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Douglas County, Colorado, has requested the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board to designate and approve the floodplains set forth in the aforesaid new report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Douglas County, Colorado, has not requested the Colorado Water e <br />Conservation Board to rescind any of the detailed or approximate floodplain information contained in <br />Resolutions Nos. 96-428 and 96-429; and <br /> <br />C.R.S. AUfHORITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 37-60-106(1)(c). Colorado Revised Statutes, requires the Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board to assist in the prevention of floods and flood damages therefrom; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Sections 31-23-301 and 30-28-111, Colorado Revised Statutes, provide that <br />legislative bodies of local jurisdictions may provide zoning regulations for land uses on or along any <br />storm or floodwater runoff channel or basin only after designation and approval by the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 37-60-106(1)(c), Colorado Revised Statutes, directs the Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board to designate and approve storm or floodwater runoff channels or basins and <br />to make such designations available to legislative bodies of local jurisdictions; and <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />4 <br />
