The services provided <br />by the municipalities and di..tricls have <br />been provided as an "as needed" response <br />to sudden problems. As a result, the <br />curren! drainage sy..lem is undersized, has <br />major gap",. and needs maintenance. <br />- <br />Becau~e the system is in;Jdequate. there <br />are many potential flood halilrd... to the <br />residents and property in the Valley. <br />Based on studie... completed on 8 ('If the ::!R drainage ba...ins. there are o\'Cr $-tO million in capital <br />project needs in those 8 basin... that ha\'C been deferred.
